Trimmers

To ensure sanitation and packaging, unprocessed products must be brought in and processed using trimmers. This is what enables them to achieve daily production objectives: they are adept at paying close attention to detail and working swiftly and accurately.

You would be responsible for receiving raw materials from daily deliveries, transferring them onto the conveyor system, and inspecting them for quality or safety issues in your capacity as a Trimmer. Throughout the day, you would engage in the following activities:

• Acquire and execute all responsibilities of the designated position in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
• Trim, load, arrange, and verify raw vegetables in accordance with the specifications and the specific trimming and processing applications.
• While performing the pruning, product distribution, and rework functions, conduct a visual inspection of raw materials to identify and report any quality or safety issues.

Packers

Packers are instrumental in the preparation of the final products for distribution. This is what enables them to achieve daily production objectives: they are adept at paying close attention to detail and working swiftly and accurately.

You are responsible for the packaging of the final products by utilizing the segregated and sanitized primary materials. It is crucial that you assist in maintaining the production tempo by keeping pace with your team members who are delivering the product to you, as the environment is extremely fast-paced. Throughout the day, you would engage in the following activities:

• Acquire and execute all responsibilities of the designated position in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
• Remove salad trays or sacks from the conveyor and position them in boxes.
• Verify the presence of foreign objects, the accuracy of the bag codes, and the expiration dates.
• During the packaging process, product distribution, and rework functions, conduct a visual inspection of raw materials to identify and report any quality or safety issues.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned, such as arranging salad cartons on skids, printing and applying labels, and transitioning from one designated work area to another throughout the day.

• Possibility of standing for the duration of the task on a concrete floor for over ten hours
• Capacity to operate in a chilly and damp environment with an average temperature of 34° F
• Capacity to operate in a raucous environment with moving apparatus, such as forklifts and conveyors.
• Capacity to operate in the presence of chemicals (e.g., chlorine and concealed ammonia)
• Capacity to execute repetitive hand movements, bend, kneel, and reach
• The capacity to operate autonomously with minimal supervisory oversight
• Must possess the ability to operate on floors and surfaces that may not be dry.
• The individual must be capable of lifting a maximum of 20 pounds for a period of 3/4 of the workday and 10 pounds overhead as required by the position.
• Attendance must be consistent and satisfactory.
• Must possess the capacity to work weekends and overtime as required.
