POSITION SUMMARY:

• Assume an advisory role for corporate clients under the guidance of attorneys
• Draft and evaluate application packets for a variety of categories, including Provincial Nominee, Federal permanent resident, and LMIA and IMP work permits.
• Ensuring that designated tasks are completed within the appropriate timeframes and monitoring application deadlines.
• Utilizing sound judgment to evaluate client risk and promptly escalate potential issues to senior management.
• Ensure that alternatives are taken into account and that appropriate decisions are made with minimal involvement from senior management.
• Ensuring that visa expiration dates are monitored and that the client is promptly informed.
• Guaranteeing that the client e-file contains essential correspondence and documentation, as well as that the appropriate client records are established and maintained.
• Ensure that all work is completed within the designated scope, that it is promptly billed upon completion, and that any additional services are agreed upon in advance.
• Recording the use of the corporate credit card in the spreadsheet in a timely and accurate manner to enable accurate invoicing.
• Maintaining confidentiality at all times and embodying the company’s values while conducting business with professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
• Guaranteeing that the client receives pertinent news updates and notifications.
• To contribute articles for publication in external publications and newsletters

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Executing casework and client administration for corporate immigration clients in Canada on a large scale.
• Listens attentively to the client’s requirements to guarantee that they are satisfied, and anticipates customer demands by providing proactive guidance. Maintaining awareness of industry events and circumstances that may be pertinent to the consumer.
• Building a strong relationship with clients by routinely communicating with them and prioritizing business requirements, while also ensuring that client service review meetings are conducted on a regular basis, with formal agendas and presentations.
• Manages time efficiently by prioritizing, identifying, and addressing critical duties, while remaining adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Using exceptional organizational skills to meet or exceed customer expectations, including in cases where service level agreements (SLAs) are established. Ensuring that advice is comprehensive and accurate, managing expectations as necessary, and escalating issues promptly and appropriately, while responding to email and telephone inquiries in a timely manner.
• Conducting research and utilizing resources to analyze intricate cases and scenarios.
• In the area of assigned responsibility, suggesting enhancements to work procedures, policies, or systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC)
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
• Fluency in French, both verbally and in writing, is a valuable asset.
• Three or more years of experience in the management of Canadian corporate immigration cases

WORKING CONDITIONS/LOCATION:

• Office milieu: interaction with others in a remote office environment, exposure to computer terminals
• Initially, this position would be remote, but it may transition to a hybrid model.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Visual acuity; the capacity to observe a computer screen for an entire eight-hour shift
• Prolonged periods of sitting
• Manual dexterity required for the operation of a computer, keyboard, and mouse
• Speaking in order to communicate detailed information in a plain and accurate manner while operating a phone
• Light lifting (no more than 25 pounds)
