About the team you are joining
This position is a component of the Human Resources staff in Montreal, which is referred to as People, Performance, and Development (PPD). Your responsibilities will include frequent interactions with PPD colleagues from other IATA international locations, particularly Geneva, in addition to working closely with the local PPD team.
You will assist the team in HR operations, process enhancements, and various administrative duties, all while reporting to the Business Partner PPD.
To be considered for this position, candidates must be recent graduates who are available to commence work promptly and are willing to work full-time (40 hours per week) for a minimum of six months. It is highly probable that this apprenticeship will be extended by an additional five months.

What your day would be like
- Perform the necessary processing of attestation letters, visa letters, and other documents.
- Assist with the various procedures for international employees in Montreal, including the Société de l’assurance automotive du Québec, Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec, and Social Insurance Number.
- Monitor the expiration dates of the work permits, prepare the necessary documentation, and provide assistance to the employees during the renewal process.
- Record the primary PPD procedures.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as electronic monitoring, data entry, and archiving.
- Assist with certain recruitment activities, including the scheduling of interviews, the verification of references, and the completion of background checks.
- Evaluate and revise PPD templates as required.
- Assist the PPD Specialist with administrative activities and procedures.
