Coastal Villages Seafoods, a division of the Coastal Villages Region Fund, is presently accepting applications for Seafood Processors to work on our longline vessels. The primary employment responsibilities of this position include the conversion of raw fish products into a processed, high-quality product that is available for sale on-board our fishing vessels in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Alaska, Bering Sea, and Aleutian Island.
This role may involve the sorting of fish by species, the operation and maintenance of machinery, and the head and gutting of whole fish to ensure that they satisfy the quality standards of the company. Additionally, this position may be accountable for the following responsibilities: packaging, weighing, labeling, positioning products in freezers, loading and unloading supplies onto the vessel, washing factory equipment, and performing any other duties that may be assigned.

Duties of Longline Processor Jobs in USA 2025
- Clean, scrape, trim, and fillet the product.
- Sort the product on the conveyor belt or table by grade, color, and size, and then position it in containers or on the designated conveyors.
- Discard cull items and foreign matter that are inferior or defective.
- For storage or transportation, package the product in crates, containers, or cases.
