The Public Prosecution Service of Canada (PPSC) is a national organization that is responsible for the prosecution of federal offenses. The PPSC is responsible for the prosecution of all criminal complaints and other federal offenses in Nunavut. The Decision to Prosecute test was also updated by the PPSC, which now offers prosecutors explicit instructions on how to be more proactive and conscientious in their identification of bias, discrimination, and other factors that contribute to over-representation.
