POSITION SUMMARY
The Sanitation Worker’s primary responsibility is to sanitize and clean the facility and production equipment in accordance with the company’s procedures, and they report to the Sanitation Supervisor. - Manually clean equipment; rinse, foam, scour, and disinfect production equipment; clean in place equipment (CIP) to ensure that all areas meet standard requirements.
- Accurately complete sanitation daily documentation (checklists).
- Return all sanitation documents and instruments at the conclusion of the shift.
- Work independently or collaboratively;
- Inform the Supervisor and/or Team Leader of any sanitation issues that are observed during the shift.
- Develop and sustain POKA guides that pertain to all production operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in food production and/or manufacturing is advantageous.
- Preferred is an understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices in the food production industry.
- Capacity to collaborate with others in a fast-paced team environment;
